When a company designs a children’s product with good intentions, such as an increase in safety for the child, it might seem ironic if that product is recalled due to a lack of safety. For example, the children’s product manufacturer Dream on Me recalled approximately 50,000 bath seats, intended for positioning a baby upright during bath time so the baby would be safer, due to a drowning hazard last year.
