General Motors is recalling 20,594 vehicles due to defects in the Fuel Tank Inlet Check Valve that may allow fuel to leak from the tank. The valve may fracture when exposed to high ambient temperatures. A fracture in the valve may allow fuel vapors to pass through, allowing droplets of fuel to accumulate on the side of the fuel tank. If the fuel were to come in contact with an ignition source, it could ignite resulting in a fire. The recall includes the 2002 – 2004 year model Buick Rendezvous, the 2002 – 2004 Chevrolet Venture, the 2001- 2004 Pontiac Aztek and the 2001 – 2004 Pontiac Montana.
