Mack Trucks, Inc., is recalling over 2,000 trucks due to potential problems with the steering wheel. The nut that retains the steering wheel may not have been installed during manufacturing. This could allow the steering wheel to come off. If this occurs while the vehicle is in motion, it could potentially cause a crash. The recall affects the following models. The CHN, CHU, CXN, CXP and CXU, all manufactured during the 2007 model year. Dealers will inspect affected trucks and add the required retaining nut if it is not already installed.
