R. Frank Melton II

Attorney

There are a lot of lawyers who say litigation is in their blood. In most cases, it’s just an expression. Then there is Frank Melton, scion of a distinguished family of trial lawyers. His father has been protecting the rights of Florida residents for more than four decades and in his own years – and successes – in the courtroom, Frank is ably continuing the trend. He’s litigated catastrophic tire defects and complicated pharmaceutical cases, digging into the most complex, technical matters; uncovering evidence that doesn’t just make a case, but saves lives.

For Frank, it’s not just about winning; it’s about making the public aware of dangerous situations, and forcing those who are responsible to fix them. It’s a philosophy – and a background – that has made Frank a go-to lawyer for the high-stakes, high-difficulty cases we specialize in, where great harm has been suffered, and both the opponent and the challenges are formidable.

An honors graduate of the University of Florida Law School, Frank worked in medical malpractice defense work before joining our firm, giving him a unique insight into the strategies and tactics of the other side – an insight he leverages each time he enters a courtroom or a negotiation session.

Working to give those whose lives have been shattered the accountability they deserve, Frank isn’t just following the family footsteps – he’s helping those who have needlessly suffered step into a better future.
