2007 Jeep Wrangler Under Investigation for Stalling

The 2007 model year Jeep Wrangler is under investigation by NHTSA following 53 reports that the vehicles stall unexpectedly. A majority of the reports state that the vehicle stalled at highway speeds and suffered a complete loss of electrical power as a result of the stall. This evaluation has been opened to determine the potential scope and safety issues that may result from this alleged defect.
