Chrysler to Recall 62,000 Vehicles

Chrysler is recalling 62,400 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles due to a possible failure in the braking systems. The Electronic Control Unit on the vehicles contains a programming defect that may cause the instrument panel warning lamps to illuminate followed by a loss of anti-lock brake system, traction control and speedometer functions. The recall includes the following 2007 model year vehicles. The Chrysler Sebring, Chrysler 300, Jeep Commander, Jeep Compass, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Liberty, Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Nitro, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Charger and Dodge Caliber.
