Doral Juvenile Group is recalling approximately 1.2 million child seats due to defects in the harness that could allow it to loosen while in use. The harness adjustment strap could loosen while in use preventing the harness from properly restraining the child. In the event of an accident, the child may suffer more serious injury due to the lack of restraint. The recall affects 19 different models manufactured from November 2003 through December 2005. Dorel will notify registered owners and provide a free repair kit to replace the harness adjustment strap.
