Land Rover Freelander under NHTSA Investigation

NHTSA has opened an investigation for the 2003 model year Land Rover Freelander following reports of the engine stalling. The reports state that the vehicle stalled when the fuel pump failed. In each case the vehicle had to be towed for repairs. This evaluation has been opened to determine the potential safety consequences of the alleged defect.
