Freightliner LLC is recalling 1,340 trucks due to defects in the braking system. The vacuum hose connecting to the Brake Booster may have been manufactured with an inadequate wall thickness. This could allow the hose to collapse under normal operation, reducing the effectiveness of the braking system. Failure of the brakes could result in an accident. Dealers will replace the vacuum line free of charge.
