NHTSA Investigating the Chevy Trailblazer and GMC Envoy
NHTSA has opened an investigation into complaints about leaky fuel pumps on the Chevrolet Trailblazer and the GMC Envoy. The fuel pump module flange may corrode which may cause the pump to leak fuel. If the leaking fuel were to come in contact with an ignition source, it could create a serious fire hazard. The investigation has been opened for the following Trailblazer models: 2002 – 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, Trailblazer 360, Trailblazer EXT and Trailblazer EXT 370. The 2002 – 2003 GMC Envoy, Envoy 360, Envoy XL, Envoy XL 370 and the 2003 model year Envoy XUV are also included in the investigation. The investigation has been opened to further asses the issue.
