Porsche recalling 19,000 Cayennes
Porsche is recalling nearly 19,000 Cayenne SUV’s sold world wide between November 30, 2006 and January 18, 2008. The recall covers about 5,900 Cayennes sold in the U.S and Canada. Affected vehicles involved in this recall are of the model year 2008 equipped with V6 engines. Porsche states, there are possibilities that the movement of engine while driving can cause the fuel line to make contact with the engine compartment's cladding. This problem could cause a knocking sound and may leave marks on the fuel line. Porsche has received five complaints from consumers but no accidents or injuries reported. The company will fix the problem free of charge.
