Kawasaki Teryx

Many companies are now entering the market with side-by-side ATVs. Side-by-sides are also known as Recreational Utility Vehicles (RUVs) and as Utility Vehicles (UTVs). RUVs are used for both recreational driving and as work vehicles to haul cargo. Kawasaki calls its recently introduced Teryx a Recreational Utility Vehicle. The Kawasaki Teryx is available in three versions: Teryxtm 750 4x4 NRA Outdoors,tm Teryxtm 750 4x4, and the Teryxtm 750 4x4 LE.

About the Kawasaki Teryx

Side-by-side RUVs have two seats instead of the traditional one seat ATV. The Teryx sports a 749cc 90-degree V-twin engine which makes it powerful for work and play. According to Kawasaki the Teryx is designed for safety as well as performance. The interior features foot guards, three-point harness seat belts, and other features to keep the occupants safe. Kawasaki also states that the Teryx’s tires and properly proportioned width make it very stable.

Are there Safety Problems with the Kawasaki Teryx?

Currently, no specific safety problems have been reported for the Kawasaki Teryx. However, ATVs, RUVS, and UTVs are prone to tip overs and rollovers and so the driver of a Teryx should use proper caution.
