C. Richard Newsome

C. Richard Newsome has been practicing law since 1989, after receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Florida, Gainesville. After earning his degree, Newsome began his career as an Assistant District Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice.

Today, Newsome heads a consumer justice law firm that represents clients in product liability, class action, and complex litigation in Florida and the United States. He has gained national recognition in state and federal courts in traumatic injury cases related to airbags, defective tires, rollovers, roof crush, seatback failure, and commercial and industrial products, as well as a wide variety of additional consumer products. Newsome has experience taking on corporate giants such as General Motors, Honda, Nissan, Ford, Chrysler, Yamaha, DuPont, and Dow.

Jerry has been practicing law since 1987, where she started out in Ohio.  She had the distinction of being a member of the U.S. District Court Southern District of Ohio in 1988. Jerri has since moved to Florida and joined the Florida Bar Association in 2004. In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar, Jerri is a current member of the Florida Justice Association and American Bar Association. She has many published works in the AFTL Journal in 2003 and 2004.

Frank graduated from the University of Florida as a Doctor of Jurisprudence with Honors and went on to Stetson University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honors.  Frank is a member of Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association (CFTLA), Florida Justice Association (FJA), Orange County Bar Association, Member
American Association for Justice (AAJ), The University Club, Member and Florida Bar.

Frank has published a number of works including “Used Tires: Are They Worth the Risk” (FJA Journal, June 2007) and “Neutralizing Restricting Confidentiality Orders, AFTL Journal” (October 2006).
